Our Football Improvement Centres helped the families of these 3 players to be able to afford to get the extra training for the kids, who are now improved and developed enough to be invited by Olympiacos.
After being with our football philanthropies for 6 years, we are now here at Melbourne airport where we are wishing the 3 boys the best of luck as they head to Athens.
These 3 players commenced at our Helping Kids Football Centre, that was a place of refuge for them while their families were priced out of club sports. This centre allowed them to return to a healthy environment in a centre that was still affordable.
As they completed this centre, they proceeded to the Football Improvement Centre, a place where the parents could afford to give their children the extra training required.
As they continued to learn football skills, their desires to achieve professional football increased. Like many parents, a pro pathway for their children is unaffordable and unattainable. Our Olympiacos Melbourne ID Schools – junior pro pathway is our football philanthropy that was able to solve this, by making it affordable for struggling families to also be able to give their kids an opportunity at a pro Euro career.
After sharing their profile with Olympiacos in Greece, these 3 players were invited for a 1 week assessment at Olympiacos where they will train at Rentis Training Centre with their existing academy players.
We are delighted that struggling families also have the chance to attain this dream.
